Raybuck Family 2011

Dear family and friends,
Another year down and it’s hard to believe it will soon be 2012. This year has been another fun family adventure. We took our first vacation of the year on a road trip to Mt. Hood, Oregon for Spring break.
We enjoyed seeing so many beautiful sights along the way and the boys learned a lot about the adventures of Lewis and Clark.
During our trip we celebrated Connor’s 6th birthday fishing at a Rainbow Trout farm near Mt. Hood. It was our first ever family fishing trip and the boys had a ton of fun catching a fish every time they put their hook in the water. We even had a family fish off for
the biggest catch and Connor won; he was so excited! It was a great birthday win for him. We took our fresh fish to a nearby campsite and grilled them up on a bed of charcoal. They were tasty! We had so much fun; of course, Kyle wanted to come back for his birthday too!
During the summer months we spent most of our time at our house in Utah. This year was filled with a lot of firsts. We had our first family camping trip and we have discovered a new family pastime ……..fishing. We invested in float tubes and have no problem spending sun up to sun down on the lake with a pole in the water. We also learned that largemouth bass and bluegill make for some really great fish fry!!
While in Utah, we also spent some family time on our ATV’s. The boys each got their own quads
this year and Kelly’s uncle used his tractor to create some great ATV trails on our property. It is really wonderful to see the boys enjoying their freedom and feeling like a couple of big guys! The boys can ride all day as long as daddy keeps the gas tank filled up!
Both boys still attend Lake Mead Christian Academy. It is hard to believe the school year is almost half over already! Kyle is in third grade this year and Connor is in the first grade. The boys really enjoy school and work very hard to maintain being on the honor roll.
We are thankful to Jesus Christ for watching over us, protecting us and keeping us safe and healthy.
We pray for each of you to have health and happiness in the coming New Year. Blessings to you all!
Love, Todd, Kelly and the boys
